Why Summer Intensive?
Alberta Ballet School attracts students from around the world to this 3-week program, that advances ballet technique and artistry through:
- An internationally-recognized ballet curriculum
- Mentorship and instruction from experienced faculty, guest teachers and Alberta Ballet's professional dancers
- An active commitment to healthy balanced training in partnership with the University of Calgary's Dance Science faculty (member of the International Association of Dance Medicine)
- Our Summer Residence program for visiting students. Residence life during Summer Intensive is designed to create a fun, memorable experience, forging strong social connections in a peer group that shares a passion for dance and ballet.
